Mission Staff Biographies
GCWM Founder
Director Ken Shirkey AAS, BDiv   
 

With 20 years of experience in mission mobilization and education, Ken has a passion to see God’s people empowered for mission to unreached peoples. He was ordained into ministry in 1990 and brings a background of government administration, having served the Maine Department of Environmental Protection as chief of the administrative section of the Water Bureau’s Municipal Services Division.








GCWM Director of Education
Martha Shirkey, BA, MA

 

Martha has an extensive administrative background in education. She was principal of New Haven Elementary in Union, Kentucky, which had a student enrollment of approximately 750 and a staff of 60. She holds these Kentucky certifications: Teacher Grades 1 to 8, Instructional Leadership Principal Certification Grades K to 12, and Superintendent Certification. She served as an advisor for the Coordinator training for the Perspectives study program on educational issues for mission education.
