Preparing a Highway for Our God in Haiti
This is an unprecedented time for the nation of Haiti.Disasters have come and gone over the years, but the earthquake has shaken the nation to the core.Everything has been shaken.Now there is an opportunity to literally change the course of Haiti. The Spirit of the Lord is moving in unprecedented revival and opening the way for “the government to be on His shoulders.”Isaiah 62:10 says: “..Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.”
You have had a major impact on many pastors and families over the months since the earthquake.The Lord has also brought many people to faith because of adversity.
He has exposed many of the strongholds and mindsets that have held the people captive. You were there last April when 45 key leaders from 20 key cities were equipped with the basics of spiritual warfare and strategic intercession. You helped them light fires of intercession in their cities that literally ringed the nation. In many ways it was like the picture of Jericho where the people of Israel had to march around the city until the Lord gave a shout and brought the walls down.Once the walls were shaken down, the people had to go in and fight to dislodge those controlled by demonic forces.
The walls of Haiti have been shaken and now these leaders are planning to go in and dislodge the strongholds in their cities and nation through prayer events beginning in early summer.These Gateway sponsored events will train people, declare the word of the Lord and set up prayer structures that will both take and hold the nation for the Lord.
You are part of the army of the Lord rushing into Haiti over the fallen walls to dislodge the strongholds in people’s minds and the powers of wickedness that have ruled for so long.
