  • A way for a church to begin to look at their lives, corporately and individually, as they are on mission with God.*
  • A life-changing course with practical applications, adapted to fit a church.
  • Contains four modules or sections that can be given separately but are sequential.
  • Is designed to challenge the student to action when confronted with the word of God and the task to which He has called us in each module.
  • Uses readings from Perspectives** and missionary speakers to confront students.
  • Gives real-life experiences and projects to provide students with opportunities to find where God is moving and taking them in their lives.
  • Who can use this program?

  • Churches that really want to make missions an integral part of their church life are encouraged to use LOGD.
  • Churches that are sending teams on short-term trips can use LOGD to assure that their teams are trained.
  • Churches that care for long-term missionaries and want to do it with excellence will find LOGD valuable.
  • Churches with a goal of having cutting-edge outreach as a life-style will find LOGD a great tool.
  • How can a church get started?

  • Since each LOGD course is church-specific, GCWM meets with a leadership team to adapt it to the church.
  • A ministry team is formed within the church to promote, organize, and carry out the classes.
  • Pray, pray, pray!
  • GCWM provides coaching, reproducible materials and access to speakers in St. Louis.
  • Partnerships with other churches may be formed for a combined class. LOGD can be adapted to meet the needs of all partners.
  • The cost-effective minimum number of students is about twenty.
  • Study God's Perspective in Four Areas:

    Module I - Biblical Perspective
    How then shall I live?
Explore God's primary priorities from Genesis to Revelation and examine your lives as individuals and as families to find how you can have maximum impact for God's Kingdom.

    Module II - Historical Perspective
How then has the church and our church been involved?
Discover how God's unchanging purpose has been accomplished and you and your church are working with Him to carry it out.

    Module III - Cultural Perspective
    How then shall they hear?
Learn basic tools for cross-cultural communication and discover ways to share the Gospel individually or as a family so that people in other cultures can truly understand.

    Module IV - Strategic Perspective
    What then shall I do?
Evaluate how you and the church can use your giftings and resources to effectively reach people of other cultures.
