YOUR DENOMINATION
If you belong to a denomination, check first to see if they have an "adoption" program. If they do, start there. This will save you some trouble for the leaders and members of church to accept adoption as a worthwhile pursuit!

ADOPT-A-PEOPLE CAMPAIGN
The AAP Campaign provides a helpful introductory packet of information on adopting an unreached people group, including "Seven Aspects of a Successful Adoption" and a list of sending and service agencies participating in the campaign.

Also produced by the AAP Campaign:
  • Adoption: A Practical Guide to Successfully Adopting an Unreached People Group, Bruce Camp, editor, 52 pp.
  • Doing Your Bit - a 10-minute AAP introductory video
  • Global Countdown videos: India, Mexico, Cambodia and Central Asia; highlighting unreached peoples and adopt-a-people stories from each country.
