GCWM-Working with Haitian Pastors since 2000

Haitian Pastors are Mobilized for Mission!

GCWM has already prepared more than 400 Haitian pastors to envision and disciple their congregations for involvement in cross-cultural Christian mission.

In response to the GCWM International Mission Training, these pastors formed their own organization, the Mision Haiten Internationale (International Haitian Mission), to reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Cuba, Benin, and elsewhere. Their vision is to send fully-funded Haitian missionaries from their congregations in fulfillment of the Great Commission.

The Problem:

Without a strategic plan for the economic empowerment of the Christians who live in this poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, the Haitian vision to send full-time, cross-cultural Christian missionaries abroad will not be possible.

The Plan:

Send a scouting trip in July to work with leaders and prepare them to evaluate existing Haitian resources and identify relevant and sustainable micro-enterprise projects.

GCWM will connect successful Christian business people from the United States with emerging entrepreneurs from Haiti. Working together, these strategic partnerships will provide training and start micro-enterprises that bring the economic empowerment needed to fund the Haitian mission through the tithes and offerings of Haitian Christians.

Donor-Investments Invited:

A gift of $500 will provide seed money to start one micro-enterprise in Haiti. Your donor-investment in the GCWM for the Haiti Business to Business Project will:
• Deliver Haitian Christians and their families from abject poverty, unemployment, and dependency
• Fund Christian mission to Cuba and Benin
• Transform the future hope for whole congregations and communities
