Discipling God's People from Vision to Involvement

Micro Enterprise in Rwanda
Ed Pilewski and Ken went to Rwanda last February to follow up on the business training and launch phase two of the Gateway empowerment initiative.  After some initial delays, nine business plans were presented from the perspective entrepreneurs in November.  We are reviewing them as part of the training and have begun the first phase of providing seed funding for two approved projects.

It is critical that we establish a firm indigenous team in the next year that can begin training and funding entrepreneurs locally.  This will bring long-term stability to the process of building economic foundations in the communities. Additional time in Africa to work hand in hand with Rwandan leadership to refine skills and evaluate long-term goals will be required.

The Gateway Center is exploring partnerships with micro finance ministries already working in Rwanda in order to multiply the effectiveness of your investment in GCWM far beyond our current resources.

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of the Rwandan people?

Needed:

Prayers for specific people and their enterprise projects.  As you pray,  you would work with the GCWM to stay personally in touch with them.

Givers
, either as individuals or a group, to provide a $250, $500, $750 seed grant to start the loan process for a project.

Goers
who will consider traveling to Rwanda with the GCWM to use your skills to equip and help people become successful.

Email Martha if you are interested.
