Ken preaching in Haiti

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The people have a growing desire to send missionaries, but have had very little training in mission or the principles needed to establish local income for the local church to send them.

International Mission Seminars

Invest in International Mission Seminars for Haitian pastors and leaders. A $30 donation will cover the cost of travel, lodging, registration, and materials for a single pastor. Each pastor will touch from fifty to one hundred people and performs a key role in building the Haitian Mission Movement.

Rwanda

The Gateway Center for World Mission has been invited by the Episcopal Diocese of Kibungo, Rwanda to facilitate empowerment for HIV-AIDS vicims and their families in two areas:

Rwanda

Empowerment

HIV-AIDS victims are required by the Rwandan Government to form into groups or "Associations" to facilitate aid with medication and some services. Many of these vicitims are children of single parents that are sick and have no financial ability to carry on the activites needed in the associations. The Gateway Center's Business to Business initiative will bring together business people with the giftings, skills and resources to train Rwandans to start locally-sustainable enterprises in each to the thirty-two HIV-AIDS associations in the Kibungo Diocese. Business people will be trained to use their gift missionally and be asked to provide their airfare and provide a $500 seed for an enterprise project they will work with. Enterprise recipients will then be required to pay the seed fund back to a seed bank that will fund future projects within Rwanda. Initial investments will be multiplied in the Kingdom for years to come.
